What a studio generates
Needle cartridges, piercing needles and blades are the sharps. Around them sits everything the session contaminated: ink caps with blood in them, wipes, barrier film, gloves and paper towel.
A container at every station is the whole trick. Artists should never carry a used cartridge across a room to a shared bin, and an inspector who sees one container by the door for four stations will say so.

Body art is licensed and inspected in both states, and waste handling is on the checklist.

Studios with employees fall under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030, including training and a written plan.
