What a PT clinic generates

Usually a container a year

Standard therapy produces no regulated waste at all. Add dry needling and you have sharps. Add wound care or lymphedema work and you have dressings. For most clinics that still adds up to one small container over many months.

    In Florida, documenting under 25 lbs in every 30-day period over the past year can support a permit exemption under Chapter 64E-16.

  • Keep the certificate
